brey Brothers Brey, George and Vladimir - the strongest doubles team of Russia in the early twentieth century. George is a 2-time champion of Russia in Singles (1907/09) and a 4-time in Doubles (1908-1911). Until the advent of Sumarokov-Elston George was the strongest tennis player in Russia. His cousin, Vladimir - a two-time finalist of the Russian championships in Singles (1907/09), and a 4-time champion in Doubles (1908-1911).
Kudryavtsev Evgeny Kudryavtsev (1898–1973) - the first USSR Honoured Master of Sport among tennis players. A 4-time champion of the USSR in Singles (1925/27/28/34) and a 13 in Doubles. Undisputed champion of the All-Union sports contest in 1928. During the 7 years (1927-1931, 1933-34) headed the list of the strongest soviet tennis players. 48-time champion of Leningrad. Among his pupils are a lot of famous Leningrad's players, A.Boytsov, R. Grodninsky, G. Korovina, V. Kiesewetter, V. Palman, G. Ivanova, and others.
dmitrieva Anna Dmitrieva (b.1940) – the strongest soviet tennis player late 1950's to mid 1960's. The absolute champion of the USSR in 1959/61/62/64, the junior Wimbledon finalist in 1958, quarter-finalist of "adult" Wimbledon in 1962, the winner of the series international tournaments, including the Open Championship in Hungary, CSSR and Yugoslavia. Honoured Master of Sports. A graduate of Moscow State University (1966). At the present time she is the leading sports television commentator (NTV +).
olkhovsky Andrei Olkhovsky(b.1966) - the Honoured Master of Sports of Russia, one of the best Doubles player of the USSR and Russia's tennis history. Owner of 20 ATP doubles titles and 20 runners-up. Two-time winner of the Grand Slam championships in the Mixed category. For many years he was a member of the USSR and the Russian team. Two-time finalist of the Davis Cup. Two-time winner of the ATP tournament in Singles.
