Eduard Negrebetsky (1908-1985) – one of the best tennis players in history of Russian tennis. A merited Master of Sports of the USSR, a merited trainer of Russia. A 4-time champion of the USSR in Singles (1932/47/49/50) and 16 in Doubles. An absolute champion of the USSR in 1950. For 29 years (1931-1959) was names in Top-10 of Russian tennis, 4 times (1932/47/49/50) as # 1. A 29-time champion of Leningrad. Over the years, he coached A.Boytsov, A.Potanin, G.Ivanova-Lukirskaya, A.Palman etc.
Larisa Preobrajenskaya (1929-2009) - a Merited Master of Sports of the USSR, a Merited trainer of the USSR. A Repeated winner of the Soviet Union Games in various categories. A USSR champion in 1955, a 16-time champion of Moscow. For 13 years (1952-1964) she was included in the Top-10 tennis players of the Soviet Union, in 1955 - as # 1. A coach of CSKA Moscow club (1964-75) and DSO "Spartak" club - (1976-2009). Among her pupils there are more than 20 Masters of Sports of the USSR, such as E.Granaturova, Y.Kashevarova, A.Kournikova, E.Kulikovskaya, T.Panova, E. and I. Sysoev, etc.
Olga Morozova (b.1949) - a strongest tennis player of the USSR late 1960 - mid-1970's, one of the leading tennis players of the world in those years. A Wimbledon and Roland Garros finalist (1974) in Singles, a champion of Roland Garros in Doubles (1974), a 2-time finalist of Wimbledon in Mixed Doubles (1968/70). A multiple Soviet Union and Moscow and European champion. A Merited Master of Sports. In the 1980's - the captain of the Soviet Union team in the Fed Cup.
Larisa Savchenko (b.1966) - the first Soviet champion at Wimbledon (with N.Zvereva). An absolute champion of Soviet Union Games (1986). For 10 years was included in Top-10 of the tennis players of the USSR, 2 times (1985/86) as # 1. As a member of the USSR team had a record number of matches (51) in Fed Cup. A winner of 2 WTA Tour tournaments in Singles (the highest ranking is # 13 in 1988), but the greatest success she achieved in the Doubles category, winning there 65 tournaments, including 6 "Grand Slam". In 2000-2009 - the coach of Russian national team in Fed Cup.
